We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Washington State, near Silvana. This is an excellent chance to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population while enjoying a flexible schedule and supportive environment.

Job Highlights:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  
  
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  
  
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  
  
  
  


• Duration: 3-month initial contract with the possibility of extension.


• Patient Load: Up to 21 patients per day; includes all age groups (newborns to geriatrics).


• Setting: Outpatient ambulatory care at a community health center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care, including chronic disease management, walk-in/acute care, and family medicine services.


• Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care.


• Work with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees.

Support & Resources:

• Dedicated medical assistant for each provider.


• Access to on-site interpreters and resources for non-English speaking patients.


• Collaborative team including mental health therapists, dietitians, and administrative staff.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Family Practice required.


• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  
  
  • Active Washington State medical license.
  
  
  • Current DEA registration.
  
  
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
  
  


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting with face-to-face patient care within the past year.


• EMR Proficiency: Experience with EPIC preferred.


• Must have a clean malpractice history.

Additional Details:

• Travel: Flight, lodging, and rental car or mileage reimbursed for non-local candidates.


• Languages: Spanish or Russian proficiency is a plus but not required.
